MS Office 2007 - Not Genuine Warning
Uninstall KB949810
Method 2.
1. Save your work and close all the open Office applications
2. Navigate to the following Windows folder: C:\Windows\System32
3. Find the following files and delete them. (You can rename the files instead of deleting them. It is recommended because if anything goes wrong you can go back to the previous state by giving the files their original names).
OGAEXEC
OGAAddin.dll
OGACheckControl.dll
Method 3.
1. Open Windows RUN dialog, enter regedit and hit Enter.
2. Navigate to the following registry key paths:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Powerpoint\Addins
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins
3. Expand each of the above registry paths and delete OGAAddin.connect
You can follow any of the above methods to remove/disable the Office Genuine Advantage notifications. Once you are done with any of the above steps, remember to disable Windows Auto-update else the notification application will be installed again.
Mails Disappearing from Outlook
1. the user has two or more workstations where they can access O
2. the user says that mails appear on one computer and not in the other one
3. or mails appear on one computer, but disappear shortly afterwards
4. mails in sent items, do not disappear
Solution:
You may want to check the mail delivery settings of the user's Outlook client on one of their workstations. It may be that one of the PCs have a setting which send new mails to a different location (and not their primary mailbox) such as a .pst file.
To see this, go to Tools > Email Accounts. In the wizard, find the part where you are given the option to 'Deliver new e-mail to the following location'.
Make sure that the option selected is their exchange mailbox and not some .pst file. It should be ok afterwards, but any previous mails should be transferred manually to the exchange mailbox or they would have to copy the .pst file to the other computers.

Adding a UID to Admin Group

Printer Mapping
This is used to map network printers onto a PC, provided they already have access. To use, edit the file in notepad as below and save as .bat, then run it on user's PC:

Replace the red text with the full path of the network printer.

where ID is equal to the session
number
NOTE: session 0 is the console
session, if this is reset, you will be
kicked from the server
After removing idle connections, log
off and proceed to connect normally.

Kindly follow the inital troubleshooting steps for account lockout. Follow the SOP for Account Lockout.
Some steps which should be followed..
1). Go to run type control keymgr.dll
hit OK
Delete all the stored username and passwords from the list.
2). Disconnect and reconnect the map drives .
3). open services.msc
check if any of the service have "logon type as" the user
if yes , disable for time being.
4). Open DSA.msc, search user and go to properties.
Click on sessions tab , set time as 1 minutes for end disconnected sessions.

5). Educate the user to log off from the server not to disconnect
6). Make sure user is not logged on to multiple workstations
7). If above steps doesnot work then you can try disable all the 3rd party services using msconfig.
go to run type msconfig.msc
click on services tab , select hide microsoft services.
Make a note of services and settings , disable them.
Resart the computer.
Monitor the user for any lockouts.
McAfee Forced Uninstall
Summary
- A failed upgrade leaves mismatched files which prevent standard removal methods
- Issues with the Access Protection features included in VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i or later
- File corruption before or during an upgrade

In McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.5i and later, the Access Protection option Prevent McAfee services from being stopped may require extra steps to be performed.
- If VSE 8.5i is currently installed (standalone or managed by ePolicy Orchestrator), see Solution 1.
- If VSE 8.5i was installed and then later uninstalled while Prevent McAfee services from being stopped was enabled, see Solution 2.
- If VSE 8.5i was installed and then uninstalled while Prevent McAfee services from being stopped was disabled or if VSE 8.5i was never installed, see Solution 3.
NOTE: This solution can also be used if you are running a previous version of VirusScan Enterprise (VSE 7.1 or VSE 8.0i).
- If the other three solutions do not apply to your situation or fail to resolve the issue, perform a full manual removal with Solution 4.
Solution 1
For stand alone installations of VSE 8.5i or later:
- Click, Start, Programs, McAfee, VirusScan Console.
- Right-click Access Protection and select Properties.
- Deselect Prevent McAfee services from being stopped.
- Click Apply.
- Close the VirusScan Console.
- Proceed to Step 2.
- Click Start, Programs, McAfee, ePolicy Orchestrator 3.6.x Console.
- Select the directory or machine level the VSE8.5i policy will be changed.
- In the right pane, expand the Virus Enterprise 8.5.0 policy.
- Click Edit next to Access Protection Policies.
- Click the Access Protection tab.
- Deselect Prevent McAfee services from being stopped.
- Click Apply.
- Send an Agent Wakeup Call to to apply changes or wait for the next enforce policy to take effect.
- Close the ePO Console.
- Click Start, Run and type the appropriate command below:
- For a new installation of VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i or later:
"c:\Program Files\Network Associates\Common Framework\frminst.exe" /forceuninstall - For an upgrade installation from VSE 8.0i or earlier (or if the system is running VSE 8.0i or earlier)
"c:\Program Files\McAfee\Common Framework\frminst.exe" /forceuninstall
NOTE: You can use Windows Explorer to determine the correct path to frminst.exe.

- Restart the system to remove CMA processes from memory and complete the file deletion.
Solution 2
IMPORTANT: This solution requires that you reinstall VSE 8.5i. If you are unable to reinstall VSE, use the full manual removal procedure in Solution 4.
- Install VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i.
- Disable the option Prevent McAfee services from being stopped:
- Click, Start, Programs, McAfee, VirusScan Console.
- Right-click Access Protection and select Properties.
- Deselect Prevent McAfee services from being stopped.
- Click Apply.
- Close the VirusScan Console.

- Uninstall VSE 8.5i.
- Click Start, Run, type the command below (including quotation marks), and press ENTER:
"c:\Program Files\McAfee\Common Framework\frminst.exe" /forceuninstall
- Restart the system to remove CMA processes from memory and complete the file deletion.Step 3 - Manual removal if Step 3 fails.
Solution 3
- Click Start, Run and type the appropriate command below:

- Do not run a .REG file that is not confirmed to be a genuine registry import file.
Step 1 - Disable the McAfee Framework Service via the Windows registry
- Click Start, Run, type regedit and click OK.
- Navigate to and select the following key:
[HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\McAfeeFramework]
- In the right pane, double-click the Start string and change the Value data to 4.
- Restart the system.
- Click Start, run, type taskmgr, and click OK.
- Click the Processes tab.
- Select each of the processes below and click End Process. Click Yes when prompted to confirm:

- UpdaterUI.exe
- naPrdMgr.exe
- Close the Task Manager.

Tiff Format
Just want to share if the user is having a problem saving the file in TIFF format.
Below are the simple steps how to fix it:
1.) Open the 'Microsoft Office Document Imaging'
2.) Click on 'Tools'
3.) Click on 'Other Tab' > 'File Import Preferences...'
4.) On the 'Advanced Tab' , You need to choose 'TIFF-Monochrome Fax' as preference for document images.
5.) Click OK.

Run Advertised Programs Error
If anyone encounters an error in SMS (Run Advertised Programs) about not being able to download due to insufficient cache size, you may change the cache size by doing the following:
Go to (with admin rights): Control Panel > Systems Management OR Configuration Manager > Advanced tab
Change the size of the Temporary Program Download folder to around 1.5 to 2GB
Outlook Attachments: Object Cannot be found
Try deleting the “frmcache.dat” file (or renaming it frmcache.bak if you are of a nervous disposition), because it’s probably corrupt. It can be found in
“Local Settings\application data\microsoft\forms”.
When you re-open Outlook it will re-create the file, and the problem will (hopefully) be gone.
